LivingStones Agency (LSA) is a Church Community that is based in the City of Durban, South Africa.

LSA was pioneered by Robert Ntuli in July 2001, under the instruction of God. The Commission from God was founded upon Exodus 25:8&9. God said: “go and build me a tabernacle according to the pattern I will show you”. This commission implied that the Architecture of this Community would be delivered by God progressively over a period of time. It also implied that there would be progressive Movement and Discovery of the evolving Purpose of God. LSA has indeed evolved over time, to the current new Prophetic Emphasis of Global Kingdom Civilization – the Vision of Church as a Civilization.

The Name

Our Name is derived from 1 Peter 2:4-5

4 As you come to him, the living Stone-rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him- 5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. NIV

Based on the above Scripture, the Name ‘LivingStones Agency’ carries the following meaning:

• ‘You are living stones’: this points to the holistic and integrated development of a people as Resource (living stones) in the Purposes of God. It describes a people that God can use to advance His Kingdom in the Earth.
• ‘Built into a house’: this speaks of progressive & structured Development that leads to Organised Human Life – a Civilization (the house of God).
• Agency: points to the Apostolic Mandate for LSA to be a Pioneer, Facilitator and a Delivery System of the Purpose of God in the earth.

Community Emphasis

In LSA, we believe that God sees Church as a “Body” – a Community of People ordained by God to walk in Relational Connectivity. Church is not called to function as a “Drive-through” Ceremonial Organization where people interact only during Church Gatherings. Rather, “God sets the lonely in families” (Ps 68:6), which means that members of any Church Assembly are called to Integrated and Connected Life. Jerusalem is built like a City that is closely compacted together (PS 122:3). Members of a Church are therefore people ordained by God before the beginning of time, to walk in Community Life – for how good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity (Ps 133). For this reason, the Early Church did not simply engage Ceremonial Fellowship but “Koinonia” or Collective Existence, where they shared Life and Resources (Acts 2:42-47, Acts 4:32-35).

All those who come to LSA and who believe that they have been called by God to be part of this Community are taught and encouraged to engage in meaningful Community Relations. At LSA, we value, engage and resource one another in Christ.

Coherent Diversity

In keeping with the Prophetic Charge from the Lord to build across Social, Racial and Cultural Groups, LSA is committed to be a Community of Diversity that truly reflects the System of Human  Life in the Kingdom of God. Diversity is one of the Principles that define the Nature of God.

Revelation 5:9 And they sang a new song: “…with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. 10 You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.” NIV

Our Diversity is coherent and not conflicting, because it originates from a common place of the Nature of Christ.

Ephesians 2:14 For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15 by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, 16 and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. NIV

LSA strongly believes that all man-made cultures are inherently deficient and that Church must reflect the one superior culture of the Kingdom of God centred on the Person and Nature of Christ. Accordingly, LSA believes that Church is defined first and foremost by the Image of Christ and not by the Cultural Imperatives of the Earth (Gen. 1:26, 2 Cor. 3:18). Church should not be pulled down to earth-based cultural positions of its members but people must be shepherded into the cultural imperatives of the Kingdom of God.

LSA therefore sees Coherent Diversity as a Prophetic Imperative, especially in the context of the Nation of South Africa – which has a history of racial and cultural segregation.

Pioneering Kingdom Humanity

LSA is fully engaged in the Pioneering Process of Kingdom Humanity, which describes the arrangement of human life in Christ. We are engaged in the Development of the Civil Dimension of Christ in the Earth – which speaks of Definitions, Arrangements and Processes of Human Life in Christ. This is the New impartation of the Grace and Nature of Christ that is being revealed to the Global Church.

In this Season, we have therefore rearranged our Building Process to align with this new Prophetic Emphasis of the Lord. We have identified three Spheres of Building that interconnect in the Development of the Civil Dimension of Christ. These spheres are: Spirituality, Humanity and Citizenship.

• Spirituality: Saints are equipped to walk in accurate and effective Relationship with the Lord.
• Humanity: Saints are equipped to walk in godly character, godly lifestyle and to engage in Christ-like behavioural conduct. The Components of our Humanity expressed through our Psychology, Sexuality, and Sociality etc. are systematically and progressively identified and calibrated through definition from the Word of God.
• Citizenship: Saints are equipped to understand and administer the Organization of Human Life in Christ. They are equipped in the Civil Dimension of Christ – to understand Definitions, Arrangement and Processes of Human Life in Christ.

LSA is committed to contributing in the development of the Faith and of the Body of Christ. We are therefore open to facilitating God-ordained relationships and connections in the Body of Christ. At LSA, we are excited to be a part of the Body.
